Dear TCCA members, we'll gather to celebrate our mid-Autumn Festival on Saturday 9/21/2024 6:30 PM at Chinese School/First Baptist Church: 915 East Sugnet Road, Midland.

2024 端午节 - Dragon Boat Festival

大家好，相信大家还记得去年的端午节龙舟大赛！TCCA三城华人协会今年还计划举办！今年的端午节/龙舟节聚会计划于6.8号（星期六）下午1点到4点在Chippewassee park B shelter (Tridge附近)举行（见上图小太阳处）。
TCCA将提供四艘双人kayak’龙舟’，欢迎大家现场报名,先来后到 😊除了龙舟比赛，活动还包括拔河比赛和手工制作教学。乐趣多多！
TCCA也将提供一些点心、零食、水，等。

请大家自带椅子，小游戏(比如踢毽子)。在龙舟比赛过程中，希望大家能够在岸边呐喊助威。

本着安全第一的原则，所有参赛的选手都需要穿救生衣，TCCA将提供普通大小的，欢迎自带救生衣。期待大家的积极参与！

Dear friends, last year we had a very successful Dragon Boat Festival party and we are going to have it again this year! TCCA’s 2024 Dragon Boat Festival party is planning to be held afternoon at Chippewassee park B shelter (near Tridge) between 1- 4 PM.

TCCA will provide 4 2-person kayaks (dragon boat). Everyone is welcome to join the race. First come, first serve. 😊Other activities include tug-of-war competition and handy crafting. You will enjoy it!

Some food and water will be provided!

Please bring your own foldable chairs and any games you like. During the races, please join us by the river bank to ‘add oil’ for the racers.

Safety First! All racers on the kayak are required to wear a life-jacket. TCCA will provide regular-sized ones. Please bring your own if you have special requirements. Thanks and look forward to seeing you there!

洪水无情人有情 - Donation Drive for TCCA members who suffered from

First Covid-19 and then the 500-year flood. Such disasters may bring economic difficulties to our community, but they cannot break our spirit. Not so long ago we held a donation drive to help our local medical community who is fighting against the coronavirus, and got great responses with more than $10,000 donated. We are asking our members to step up one more time to help those who have suffered losses. 洪水无情人有情!

We plan to accept donation till June 1st, and then distribute 2/3 of the donations received to TCCA members who have suffered losses in the recent flood, and 1/3 to United Way of Midland County. This ratio may be adjusted based on our members' response to question 4 below.
