TCCA
invites you to join us on
Saturday, Feb 6, 2010 for
the TCCA Spring Festival Gala, to celebrate
the arrival of year of Tiger.
The Spring
Festival (the Lunar New Year) is the most celebrated holiday for Chinese. The TCCA committee and many of our members as well as
volunteers are working very hard to make this party the one to remember!
The party
contains two major programs:
1.
Potluck Dinner: starting at 5:00
pm
-
The dinner is buffet-style. The food includes member-brought dishes and several traditional Chinese
dishes provided by
TCCA.

TCCA Catered dishes include seafood, meat,
vegetables,
and many other special ones catered by local restaurants
2.
Chinese New Year Cultural Show: starting at
7:00 pm
in the Auditorium
-
The show will feature a diverse mix of performances
including singing, dancing, traditional music, talent show, etc…

Will have multiple prize drawings – many surprises
waiting for you.
Here
are the specific details:
Date
/ time:
Saturday, Feb 6, 2010. We start serving dinner at
5:00 pm.
Location:
Bullock
Creek High School Auditorium
1420 S. Badour Road, Midland, MI 48640.
It’s the same location as last year)
Things to bring:
each TCCA member family should bring one or two “generous, family-size” dishes
enough for 4 or more people
to share. (Please
also bring required utensil to serve your dishes. Containers and utensils will
be set aside at a separate table. Make sure you claim them
at the end of show.)
Things to take notice:

TCCA
membership fees are due at check-in / registration time.
Here is the fee schedule:
o
Family: $30 for
up to 4 members. $5 per additional family member. For example, if there are 6
people in your family, the total is $40 ($30+ 2x$5).
o
Individual: $20
per person.
o
Student: $10 per
person.
Please
note the membership covers not only the ticket to the New Year celebration, but
also other TCCA events throughout 2010, including but not limited to Dragon Boat
Festival, Summer Outing, Moon Festival events. All TCCA members must pay the
dues up front in order to participate in any TCCA event.
F or
non-members, including guests to TCCA members (payable on check-in), the fee to
this event is $8 per
person, free of charge for children under table height. Please note this fee
gives you entrance to this event only (including dinner and show). No group or
family discount will be given. Additional fees apply if you want to participate
in other TCCA events.
Once registered, a special name
tag will be issued to you and your family members. You need to
display your name tag at all time, as this is the only proof of your
registration.

One raffle ticket
per member family or registered / paid non-members / guests. Please keep this
raffle ticket at all time. Two prize drawings will be held during the
performance. Be there to claim or forfeit your chance!

2010虎年新年晚会
中国新年即将来临。三城华人联谊会准备了精采的节目和丰富的奖品，欢迎大家一起来共度佳节。

聚餐 以自助餐形式，我们将准备一部分中式菜肴，但请您带上拿手佳肴与大家分享，分量须在 四人份以上。
入席前请先注册交缴来年（2010
年度）会费：
今年由于各方面涨价的原因，我们华人联谊会要保障活动的质量也面临着会费涨价的压力。但是经联谊会负责人集体商议，我们决定总体上维持去年的标准，只对人数较多的家庭费用做一下调整，对非会员则不再设立家庭或人数上的优惠。
·
家庭：如在4人或4人以内，$30。四人以上，超出的每人$5。
例如：6人家庭的总费用为$40。
·
个人：$20每人。
·
学生：$10每人。
会员费将包括2010年全年的活动费用，包括端午，夏季郊游，中秋晚会等活动。
不加入 会员的来宾，请缴纳本次活动的入场费，每人$8。身高不过桌高的儿童免费，没有人数上的优惠。例如，一家4人，含1幼儿免费，总费用为$24。非会员的入场费用只包含本次活动，不作他用。
注册后会发放入场券，请妥善保管作为入场凭证。晚会中有抽奖活动，凭入场券领奖，祝您好运！
